b'15CHALLENGES Every ambitious project has challenges and obstacles. Companies from different countries; a construction sitein an overcrowded urban environment; stringent green standards; and disruptions due to the pandemic put all the participants to the test. But the teams met the challengeshead on and hand-in-hand in an admirable demonstrationof PSPs corporate values.Languages and culturesWith a Swiss owner and a Dutch hotel operator, Rue duMarch 40 is an international project uniting diverse languagesand cultures. However, not all the companies involved had thesame language skills, especially when talking about technological innovation. But quality team management, a partnership basedon dialogue, and excellent team spirit ensured effective communication to see the project through.Urban activitySwatchs request to keep trading on the site during the workswas resolved in an original way. PSP proposed to create a pop- up store with containers that would not detract from the Swatch RUE DU MARCH 40GENEVAbrand image. The temporary store was set up so that the works could continue with access for teams and deliveries to the site. The store, on the slope of Rue de la Madeleine, continued greeting customers with an elegant and attractive design. Thanks to this agile solution, the brand maintained itsturnover in this busy area.'
